The lifeblood of any writer — or artist of any stripe, for that matter — is publicity and recognition.  In the galaxy of books that are released to the public every year, each author must struggle to try to make their book the star that shines the brightest.  Without this exposure, the labor of each author will languish in obscurity.

 

To that end, I need the help of you, the reading public.  Anything you can do to help me spread the word about my books will be appreciated more than you will ever know.  Here are some of the things you can do to help the efforts of an independent artist:
 
                ...Buy my books!  Obvious, I know, but important!
                ...Word of mouth.  Tell everyone how unique a book it is!
                ...Review this book on blogs,  social media, wherever
                ...Write reviews wherever the book is sold (This one is of paramount importance on Amazon!)
                ...Let everyone know how much you enjoyed it!
                ...Are you a literary agent?  Let's talk!

The tactic for getting my name out there has been most creatively expressed by a friend of mine. He will buy my books, read them, then intentionally leave them lying about in hotels, airports, restaurants, etc. in the hopes that someone else will pick it up, read it, and become yet another fan of my writing.  Supporters like this are invaluable and appreciated beyond measure.
