The Eight of Cups

There was only one witness to the ghoulish murder of legal luminary Allison Crosley: a sixteen-year-old homeless girl with long, prematurely gray hair, fluorescent blue eyes and autism; the only way she communicates with the outside world is through a deck of tarot cards.  She is known to other denizens of the streets as, "The Ghost".

The Eight of Cups is my fourth fiction work and my second novel.  People will sometimes ask me how I ever came up with such an odd idea for a story.  My answer is the same as for all of my other strangely imaginative stories:

I have no idea.

And that's the truth.
