Phil Penne Creations
Writing ~ Photography ~ Digital Stained Glass ~ Handmade Soap ~ Native American style flutes
My soaps are cruelty-free, containing no animal products. The ingredients I use are also responsibly sourced, including RSPO ( Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) palm oil. All of my soaps are made using the same formula: 50% olive oil, 25% coconut oil and 25% palm oil. They also contain powdered oatmeal as a skin conditioner and mild exfoliant. Any scents used are either high-grade essential oils or vegetable oil-based fragranced oils. I also employ what's known to soap makers as a "lye discount" (you can't make real soap without lye), insuring that there will be no excess lye remaining to be harsh on the skin.
My soap sells for $5.00 for a 6 ounce (average weight) bar.
As with my other handcrafted products, any sales go to help someone very dear to me.
